Partners and network

EEP Africa networks with Project Developers, investors and other stakeholders in the clean energy sector. EEP is an active regional partner in generating knowledge and evidence, sharing experiences and informing regional clean energy policies.

The EEP is very relevant in relation to national and regional policy (Mid-term evaluation 2015)

EEP Knowledge Exchange Forum

The EEP Knowledge Exchange Forum (KEF) has been organised six times since 2014. Each event is held in a different EEP country with an aim to reach as many project developers as possible. KEF is an active event of discussions, sharing of experiences and an occasion to connect EEP project developers and other players in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector. The feedback from the previous KEFs has enabled us to develop a highly appreciated event specifically tailored for the needs of EEP project developers. Based on its core idea of networking, KEF offers ample opportunity to learn and share valuable lessons learnt between the participants, and build new business relationships .

KEF is an open forum for all interested.

EEP Investor Forum

EEP organises regular Investor Forums for EEP funded Project Developers. The aim of the Investor Forum is to support the Project Developers in obtaining follow-on financing for their operations and scale-up. The matchmaking event gathers together a range of investors from impact investors to commercial investors. The EEP Investor Forum has been thanked for the quality of projects, diversity of investors and for opening doors to more detailed discussions.

“It would be impossible to meet these people all in one place without the event – this is a huge benefit.” – Project Developer

“The event was highly informative and a great way to connect with many potential (and existing) partners in one room!” – Investor
