Commercializing Sustainable Process for Waste-to-Biogas Production

This project was a feasibility study aiming at commercializing a sustainable community waste-to-energy and fertilizer production process around anaerobic co-digestion in Ndola, Zambia.

Outcome and Impact:

The lessons learned from this feasibility study provided the basis for future works in commercializing a sustainable process for waste to biogas production in the region. The process and potential have been thereafter discussed with City of Lusaka Zambia and also Tanzanian and Nigerian partners who are much interested in venturing forward with the commercialization of waste to biogas process.
