The EEP Africa Knowledge Exchange Forum (KEF) is a dynamic event for project developers and other key players in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector to discuss key topics in the field, share experiences, and build new business relationships. The event includes speakers, panels and roundtable discussions that offer participants valuable opportunities to share their own successes and challenges.
The recent KEF was held in December 2019 in Arusha, Tanzania with a theme of Clean Energy for Productive Use and Green Growth. It featured the launch of new EEP Africa knowledge products looking at productive use of energy and youth opportunities in the clean energy sector. The event also featured a panel selection of the EEP Africa Project of the Year 2019 and advanced information about the next EEP Africa call-for-proposals.
KEF Johannesburg was held in March 2019 with a theme of Drivers for Renewable Energy Uptake in the SADC Region. Close to 100 participants listened to a keynote speech by Andrew M. Herscowitz, Coordinator of Power Africa, and other speakers. Key findings from the SADC Status Report on Renewable Energy were presented.
