The theme of this call is Clean Energy Powering Green Growth with particular focus on clean energy for productive use and clean energy in circular economy solutions.
EEP Africa invites competitive applications from registered, impact-driven companies, start-ups, and social enterprises. Projects must be in an early stage of active development and be implemented in one or more of the 15 countries covered by EEP Africa. Projects can utilise any type of renewable energy or energy efficiency technology.
Financing is in the form of grants and repayable grants between 200,000 to 500,000 euros, with a minimum of 30% co-funding required. Applications will be evaluated based on concept innovation, development impact, business model and financial sustainability.
The deadline for submission of the Concept Note is 10 March 2020 at 13:00 Helsinki time (GMT+2).
