Project Guidelines

EEP Africa provides guidance to its portfolio companies during the planning and implementation of their projects. Guidelines on project administration, financial management, branding and marking can be found here.


E-waste Toolkit

EEP Africa, in partnership with CLASP, has compiled a set of resources to support companies overcome many of the barriers to e-waste management and recycling in East and Southern Africa. In this toolkit, project developers will find best practices for off-grid solar e-waste management, resources on local legislation, and recommendations for recycling services.

World Energy Week 2021

World Energy Week (5-7 October 2021) is a platform for the global energy+ community to address challenges and opportunities, drive practical action and create impact. This year’s theme is Energy for Better Lives and EEP Africa Portfolio Coordinator Faith Chege is speaking on the panel “Humanising Energy” on 5 October, which will showcase innovations driving the energy transformation through the people enabling the transition at a grassroots level.

Week of Clean Cooking (18-22 October 2021) is a series of virtual engagements, events, and networking opportunities hosted by the Clean Cooking Alliance to engage the clean cooking ecosystem and catalyze action.

Enlit Africa Digital Event (26-28 October 2021) brings together Africa power, energy, and water industry professionals for webinars, exclusive roundtables, tech showcases, technical training, and more. Topics for this year’s discussion include future cities, smart grids, finance and investment. The final day will focus on Africa’s water infrastructure value chain. EEP Africa is proud Association Partner of this flagship industry event.

Africa Energy Forum

Africa Energy Forum (15-17 November 2021) unites governments, utilities and regulators with development finance institutions, commercial banks, power developers, technology providers, EPCs and professional services.
