Project Guidelines

EEP Africa provides guidance to its portfolio companies during the planning and implementation of their projects. Guidelines on project administration, financial management, branding and marking can be found here.

E-waste Toolkit

EEP Africa, in partnership with CLASP, has compiled a set of resources to support companies overcome many of the barriers to e-waste management and recycling in East and Southern Africa. In this toolkit, project developers will find best practices for off-grid solar e-waste management, resources on local legislation, and recommendations for recycling services.

Sector Events

Africa Energy Forum (20-23 June 2023) will take place in Nairobi, Kenya. It unites governments, utilities and regulators with development finance institutions, commercial banks, power developers, technology providers, EPCs and professional services to form partnerships, identify opportunities and move the industry forward. Renewable Energy Forum Africa (REFA) (4-6 October 2023) will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, organised by AFSIA and SolarPower Europe and supported by GET.invest to promote investment in renewables on the African continent.
