Fuel Efficient Energy Saving Stoves, the Project Aims to Transform Rural Communities from Use of Three Stone Fires to Cleaner Safer Cook Stoves

The fuel efficient cook stove (FES) project aimed to transform communities’ usage of open fires to cleaner and more efficient ways of cooking, utilizing a market-oriented approach. By working with community-based organizations, the project helped ensure that stoves are accessible and affordable, while awareness is created amongst customers at the bottom of the pyramid.
