This project was a demonstration model which involves installation of solar PV systems of different sizes depending on need and ability to pay. Main objectives of this project included providing rural community and institutions sustainable source of lighting by extending electricity coverage to over 30,000 people. The project provided lighting facility for schools, dispensaries and health centres, thus helping improve provision of social services.
