EEP Africa Rising Energy Leader 2025: Call For Nominations
The Rising Energy Leader award shines a spotlight on young professionals who are leading the clean energy transition in Africa. The nomination deadline is 5 December 2025.
Up to a maximum of five (5) nominees will be selected for recognition. The winners will be announced at the EEP Africa Knowledge Week. A profile of each individual winner will be developed and shared across social media and the EEP Africa website.
Who is eligible?
Any young person (no older than 35 years in 2025) who has added value to a project funded by EEP Africa.
What do we look for?
- A strong commitment to advancing the clean energy transition in Africa
- At least 3 years of experience with clean energy technology, sales or business models
- Demonstrated professional growth or achievement within the company
- An emerging leader with goals for the future
How to apply?
Fill out an online application form and upload a copy of your CV (in English) and details about your connection to the EEP Africa portfolio (name of project developer and your relationship to them). Include contact information for one reference (i.e. supervisor, colleague, mentor) from the relevant EEP Africa project developer.
When will the winner be announced?
The 2025 cohort of winners will be announced at the EEP Africa Knowledge Week during 10-12 February 2026.
