Green Waste Energy Development Africa

Advanced recycling and energy recovery project

This feasibility project aimed to bring the plan for a commercial scale plant in the city of Kigali to a financial close. The plant would generate green electricity from Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and supply it to the grid to alleviate the shortage of electricity in Rwanda. The goal of this project was to build a plant capable of processing 400 MT per day and generate approximately 80mW/h electricity from the WTE Syngas.
