This project was based on a model where they install, own and operate briquette fired boilers for their clients, who pay an operational fee of about 75% of what it would cost them when using fossil fuels. Lean Energy manufactures the non-carbonized briquettes for these operations from agro-waste.
This project resulted in carbon emission reductions of 9,872 tCO2eq annually. As a result, 200 jobs were created through this project. Installation of energy efficient technologies has saved energy at the amount of 34,840 MWh annually.
