Utilising a Biomass-to-Energy Solution as an Instrument to Stimulate Economic Development, Community Upliftment and Wealth Creation in Nkomazi District of Mpumalanga

In this feasibility study, existing operations were transformed from only growing sugarcane into producing charcoal and bio-oil out of biomass that has previously been handled as waste. The target was to produce charcoal and bio-oil for the retail market and electricity for own use.
