SimGas BV

Upscaling SimGas Urban Biogas Production and Distribution in Tanzania and Kenya

This objective of this project was to establish a commercially viable and growing distribution network for affordable mass-produced biogas systems for urban households in Tanzania and Kenya. By commercially selling biogas digesters, we save on daily expenses for charcoal or firewood, hereby earning their investment back within two years. The SimGas GesiSafi systems are designed to convert organic (kitchen) waste into biogas. This is a continuous process, and the gas can be directly used for cooking. Biogas replaces charcoal and firewood, and is a clean, affordable and modern solution with benefits for both the user as well as the environment.
