Feasibility Study for the Construction of a Hydroelectric Plant in Mfereke, Njombe, Tanzania

The project consisted in the execution of a feasibility study for the identified opportunity of installing one small hydro-power plant at the village of Mfereke, Njombe Region, Tanzania.

 

Outcome and Impact:

The impact of this project was the availability of a fully-fledged bankable project proposal that, when executed, will provide: an additional 650.000 kWh/year of renewable energy and over 500 rural connections to households (450), local enterprises (50), public services (3), one corporate customer and the Professional College of Njombe.
