Bulembu Ministries Swaziland had in the past spent a significant amount of time and effort developing the organization’s renewable energy strategy. Because of the following: increased energy costs implemented by South Africa’s primary energy supplier Eskom, an ageing infrastructure in Swaziland, and a growing population in the community of Bulembu, the demand for renewable energy grew (and continues to grow) significantly. lnstalling renewable energy sources into the community of Bulembu, allowed BMS to achieve direct cost savings that could in turn be used for BMS’s core vision – the raising of orphans into future leaders for Swaziland and secondly job creation through emerging enterprises.
